E-TECH Clear Alloy Wheel Lacquer

If you're refurbishing your alloy wheels or simply want to restore their showroom shine, the E-TECH Clear Alloy Wheel Lacquer is the perfect finishing touch. Its fine mist formula provides a smooth, professional finish and is ideal for spraying into tight corners and deep pockets.

Preparation

• Allow freshly painted wheels to dry for at least 24 hours before applying lacquer.
• Ensure the wheel surface is completely dry and free of dust, polish, silicone, and dirt.
• Lightly sand the painted surface using 1200 grit wet and dry paper with water to achieve a matt finish—lacquer adheres better to matt surfaces than glossy ones.
• After sanding, clean thoroughly with warm water and detergent, then rinse and dry completely.
• Mask off surrounding areas to protect from overspray.

Lacquer Application

• Ensure the can is at room temperature (approx. 17°C to 21°C).
• Spray in a warm, dry, and dust-free environment. Avoid spraying in cold, damp, or humid conditions.
• Shake the can vigorously for at least 2 minutes before use.
• Hold the can 20-30cm (8"-12") from the surface and spray in a smooth, side-to-side motion.
• Apply several thin coats, allowing around 15 minutes between each coat for drying to a tacky film.
• Shake the can between coats to maintain an even spray.
• Allow the lacquer to dry for a full 12 hours after final application.
• After use, turn the can upside down and spray until the nozzle is clear, or remove and soak in thinners.
