The E-TECH Pro Alloy Wheel Paint range offers the latest in wheel refurbishment technology, available in four hi-tech colours inspired by current styling trends. Designed to refurbish, refresh, or customise alloy wheels, the Pro range provides a cost-effective solution for achieving a professional finish.

Each can is equipped with a high-flow, adjustable dual-action spray nozzle that delivers smooth and even coverage, offering greater control and precision throughout the painting process.

Available Colours:

  • Chromium Bright Silver
  • Metallic Graphite
  • Bavarian Dark Anthracite
  • Metallic Midnight Black

Features:

  • Perfect for refurbishing or customising alloy wheels
  • Excellent adhesion and fast-drying formula
  • Resistant to brake dust, cleaning agents, road salt, and general grime
  • Durable, chip-resistant finish
  • Manufactured to ISO9001 Quality Standards
  • Pro Nozzle for versatile and precise spray control

Surface Preparation:

  1. Remove the wheel from the vehicle following manufacturer guidelines. If unsure, consult a qualified mechanic.
  2. Thoroughly clean the wheel to remove brake dust, wax, polish, grease, etc. Use a non-harmful cleaner such as E-TECH Technik Surface Deep Cleaner (Part No: ER00102).
  3. Dry the wheel completely.
  4. Sand down any flaking paint or oxidised aluminium using medium-grade abrasive paper. Use E-TECH Alloy Wheel Putty (Part No: AWP-01) to repair deep scuffs or scratches.
  5. Lightly sand the entire surface with fine abrasive paper for a smooth finish. Clean and dry again.
  6. Mask off tyres, valves, and areas not to be painted.
  7. Apply 2–3 coats of E-TECH Repaired Surface Primer (Part No: ER00109). For bare alloy areas, use E-TECH Self-Etch Primer (Part No: ER00112).
  8. Test spray on an inconspicuous area to check colour compatibility. This is an acrylic-based paint.

Painting Instructions:

  • Ensure the can and wheel are at room temperature (17°C – 21°C).
  • Spray in a warm, dry, and dust-free environment.
  • Shake the can vigorously for at least 2 minutes before use.
  • Hold the can 20–30cm from the surface and spray in smooth, side-to-side motions.
  • Apply several thin coats, allowing 10 minutes between each coat.
  • Shake the can between coats.
  • After use, turn the can upside down and spray until the nozzle is clear. Alternatively, remove the nozzle and soak it in thinners.

Optional: For a showroom finish, apply E-TECH Clear Coat Lacquer (Part No: AWL-187216) after a minimum 24-hour drying period. This lacquer delivers a hard, high-gloss, wet-look finish and seals the painted surface.
