Product Description:

Hammerite Red Oxide Primer is specially formulated for use on both bare and rusty iron and steel. It offers a high-performance, anti-corrosive base coat that protects metal surfaces and prepares them for topcoats. For aluminium, galvanised, and other non-ferrous metals, use Hammerite Special Metals Primer.

• Drying Time: Touch dry in 2 hours, recoat after 6 hours

Application Instructions:

• Stir paint thoroughly before use.
• For best results, apply with a short pile mohair roller when rolling.
• Apply 2 coats, allowing a minimum of 6 hours between coats.
• A topcoat may be applied after 6 hours; for best results, allow 24 hours before topcoating.
• Can be overpainted with most standard paints.
