Product Description:
Hammerite No.1 Rustbeater provides a high-build finish to heavily pitted areas of rust and helps to prevent new rust from forming. Ideal as a base layer for metal protection, it is designed to be overcoated with a suitable Hammerite topcoat.

Features:

• High-build formula for pitted and rusty surfaces
• Prevents new rust from forming
• Suitable for use under Hammerite topcoats
• Easy brush or roller application

Application Instructions:

• Ideal application temperature: 8°C to 25°C
• Stir paint thoroughly before use
• Brush Application: Apply 2 coats, allowing 6 hours between coats. Ensure corners and edges are well covered
• Roller Application: Apply 2 thick coats. Thin with Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners (9 parts paint to 1 part thinner). Brush edges first before using roller
• Topcoat Application: Apply a suitable Hammerite topcoat after a minimum of 6 hours. For best results, allow 24 hours before topcoating
