E-TECH Lens Tint

E-TECH Lens Tint is a revolutionary styling spray developed specifically for use on front headlamps, rear tail lights, side repeaters and fog light lenses. Available in six popular colours – Blue, Green, Orange, Red, Smoke and Yellow – this tinting spray allows for subtle lens customisation while maintaining light output and legality.

  • Creates a subtle and aggressive styling upgrade
  • Minimal light distortion and brightness reduction
  • Suitable for cars, 4x4s, pick-ups, and motorcycles
  • Quick and easy to apply, and removable if needed
  • Scratch and shock-resistant satin finish
  • Resistant to petrol, UV rays and weather conditions
  • MOT vehicle test passed (see packaging for full details)

Important Note

Do not apply in temperatures below 13°C (55°F). If working in cold conditions, warm the light lens with a hair dryer or work in a warm, ventilated area.

Prolonged exposure to UV and weathering can degrade plastic light lenses over time. If your lens is oxidised, scratched or damaged, the tint may react with the polycarbonate surface. In this case, use a fine cutting compound and buffing wheel to restore clarity. Any body shop can provide further guidance.

Preparation Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the lens thoroughly to remove all dust and dirt.
  2. Mask off the surrounding area to protect from overspray.
  3. Clean the lens using the E-TECH Cleaning Wipe Sachet (included in the kit or sold separately) to remove all traces of grease, polish, wax, oil, and moisture.
  4. Ensure the surface is completely dry before spraying.

Can Preparation

  1. Remove the cap from the can.
  2. Pull the nozzle off, remove the transport collar, then replace the nozzle – your can is now ready to use.

Application Instructions

  1. Shake the can vigorously for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Compatibility Test: Spray a small amount on an inconspicuous test surface to check for adverse reactions. If any occur, do not continue use.
  3. Check the spray function with a short burst before application.
  4. Hold the can 20–30cm from the lens and apply thin, even coats using smooth horizontal and vertical motions.
  5. If a second coat is needed, wait approximately 5 minutes until the surface is tacky before applying it.
  6. Note: Avoid heavy coats to prevent impairing light brightness – we recommend a light tint only.
