E-TECH Lens Tint Remover

E-TECH Lens Tint Remover is specially formulated to safely remove E-TECH Lens Tint spray and restore the surface of your light lenses to their original clear finish.*

Important – Please Read Before Use

Ensure both the lens and the can are at room temperature (approx. 17°C to 21°C) before use. Do not apply below 13°C (55°F).

1. Wash the lens thoroughly using warm water and detergent (e.g. washing-up liquid).
2. Remove all polish, wax, silicone, dirt and dust.
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry fully before application.
4. This remover is designed specifically for use with E-TECH Lens Tint and may not be effective or safe on other coatings.

Can Preparation

1. Carefully remove the cap using a screwdriver via the provided slot.
2. Pull off the spray nozzle to reveal the plastic transport collar.
3. Remove the collar, then replace the nozzle – the can is now ready for use.
4. Shake can vigorously for at least 30 seconds before use.

Compatibility Test

Due to potential age-related wear and UV damage on polycarbonate lenses, a compatibility test is strongly recommended:

• Spray a small, inconspicuous area (about the size of a golf ball) that’s been exposed to the elements.
• If the area becomes cloudy or frosted, stop immediately. Do not apply more remover.
• If a reaction occurs, it will be contained to the small test area. To restore clarity, use a fine cutting compound and a buffing wheel – a local body shop can advise further.

Application Instructions

1. If the compatibility test is successful, proceed with the full application.
2. Spray a light mist of remover onto the lens surface.
3. Wipe the area in a single direction using a clean, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive materials.
4. Flip the cloth to a clean side and wipe dry.
5. Repeat as needed until the lens is fully clear. Change cloths regularly to avoid re-contamination.
