E-TECH Door Guard

The E-TECH Door Guard fits along the side or bottom edge of your car's doors to act as a buffer and prevent damage and deterioration. Whether from other vehicles in car parks, high kerbs, or everyday wear, door edges are prone to chips, knocks, and scratches. E-TECH Door Guard helps prevent this kind of damage and can also be used to cover up existing flaws such as rust and paint chips.

Made from durable, self-adhesive material, the Door Guard grips tightly and offers effective protection for both front and rear doors. The 2 metre (6'6") roll is enough to cover two doors on most vehicles, and the flexible material allows it to fit both straight and gently curved door edges.

Fitting Instructions

• Thoroughly clean and dry the area along the door edge where the guard will be fitted.
• Ensure the surface is free from oil, grease, wax, polish, dirt, dust, and moisture. Use a non-damaging degreaser like white spirit or methylated spirits.
• Measure and cut the Door Guard to the required length using a sharp knife or shears. If needed, trim around mouldings or sharp corners (mitre for sharp angles).
• If the Door Guard is stiff in cold weather, gently warm with a hair dryer to improve flexibility.
• Important: Do not stretch the Door Guard during fitting.
• Firmly press the Door Guard onto the door edge to ensure full adhesive contact. Rub down firmly 3–4 times to maximise bond strength.
• Repeat pressure application after 1 hour and again after 24 hours.
• After fitting, carefully check door closure to ensure no interference. Note: door edge thickness may vary between vehicles.
