Description:
Liqui Moly Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner is a powerful solution developed for the in-situ cleaning of clogged DPF systems in passenger cars. It dissolves hardened soot, ash, and crusted contaminants on the surface of diesel particulate filters, restoring proper flow and supporting low emissions, optimal engine performance, and fuel efficiency. Regular cleaning, when combined with proper flushing, helps reduce the risk of costly filter replacements and maintains long-term system reliability.

Application Instructions

Cleaning must be carried out using a Pressurized Tank Spray Gun. Depending on the vehicle, access the DPF by removing the temperature or pressure sensor.

1. Ensure the filter temperature is below 40 °C before beginning.
2. Insert the appropriate spray probe into the DPF via the sensor opening.
3. Spray 1 liter of DPF Cleaner in intervals of 5–10 seconds, allowing 5–10 second pauses between sprays. Maintain 6–8 bar pressure. Move the probe back and forth while rotating it for even distribution.
4. Wait approximately 15 minutes for the cleaner to take full effect.
5. Then flush the DPF using 500 ml of Liqui Moly Pro-Line DPF Flushing Fluid using the same spray method and pressure.
6. Reinstall the sensor and initiate forced regeneration via diagnostic tool according to the manufacturer’s procedure.

Safety & Maintenance Notes

Always consult the safety data sheet before use. After application, depressurize and fully drain the spray gun. Never store the gun with fluid inside the tank.
