LOCTITE® 319 – Rear-View Mirror & Glass Bonding Adhesive

Description:
LOCTITE® 319 is a one-part, medium-viscosity, modified acrylic adhesive formulated for high-strength structural bonding of glass to metal. Commonly used for mounting rear-view mirrors to windshields, this clear light amber adhesive cures anaerobically—when air is excluded—between tightly fitted surfaces. The adhesive is compatible with multiple substrates including glass, metals, ceramics, and plastics, and is ideal for applications with dissimilar material expansion rates.

Application Notes:
Cure is activated in the absence of air between close-fitting parts. LOCTITE® SF 7649 activator is recommended to promote reliable and rapid curing. Ensure all surfaces are properly cleaned and pre-treated before bonding.
