E-TECH Non-Coated Woven Exhaust Wrap

E-TECH Non-Coated Woven Exhaust Wrap is designed to increase performance and reduce engine bay temperatures by retaining exhaust heat and promoting faster gas flow through your exhaust system. This results in improved scavenging and reduced radiant heat exposure to nearby components.

Made from high-quality fibreglass material, this wrap is heat-rated to approximately 550°C (1022°F) and contains no asbestos.

  • Improves the scavenging of exhaust gases
  • Maintains hotter exhaust gases for increased exhaust flow
  • Withstands continuous heat up to 550°C
  • Reduces under-bonnet temperatures by up to 50%
  • Non-asbestos, high-performance fibreglass construction

Equipment Required

  • Scissors or knife for cutting the wrap
  • Dust mask
  • Safety glasses
  • Long sleeves (recommended)

Wrapping Tips

  • Allow plenty of time to wrap correctly for a neat, effective result
  • Keep the wrap tight throughout to hold in position and maximise heat retention

Wrapping Steps

  1. Start at the end of the pipe or flange. Fold back 20mm (¾") of the wrap to reduce fraying, and place the fold flush with the pipe end.
  2. Wrap tightly around the pipe once to secure the folded edge.
  3. Continue wrapping at an angle, overlapping each turn by approximately 20mm (¾"). Wrap 3 more turns to secure the starting section.
  4. Use a Multi-Purpose Stainless Steel Cable Tie (Part Nos: 450201, 450362, 800362) to secure the starting end.
  5. Continue wrapping the rest of the pipe with the same overlap, keeping tension tight throughout.
  6. If pipes are too close to wrap individually, wrap them together.
  7. At the end, fold the last piece of wrap back 20mm (¾") and place fold side down against the pipe. Secure with another cable tie.
  8. Repeat process for the remaining sections until the system is fully wrapped.

Note: The wrap will emit smoke the first time it heats up. This is non-toxic and part of the normal curing process.
