JLM Diesel Air Intake & EGR Cleaner
Restore Engine Power & Improve Performance
JLM Diesel Air Intake & EGR Cleaner is a highly effective solution for removing stubborn deposits and restoring engine performance. Designed specifically for diesel engines, this powerful cleaner tackles soot, rust, and dirt build-up in the air intake and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems, ensuring optimal engine function and improved driving experience.
Key Benefits
- Effective EGR & Air Intake Cleaning: Dissolves soot, rust, and grime in air intake and EGR systems, restoring optimal airflow.
- Improve Engine Power & Acceleration: Enhances combustion and restores air supply for smoother acceleration and better performance.
- Stops Irregular Idling & Stalling: Eliminates common drivability issues caused by airflow blockages.
- Perfect for Short Trips & Low RPM Use: Ideal for engines frequently driven in urban or low-rev conditions.
- Simple & Effective Application: Spray-on treatment delivers results quickly without dismantling parts.
How to Use
- Warm Up the Engine: Make sure the engine reaches normal operating temperature.
- Remove Flexible Hose: Detach the intake hose at the appropriate point depending on the cleaning area (manifold, turbo, or EGR).
- Start the Engine: Let it idle during the application.
- Apply Product: Spray in 1–2 second intervals into the air intake. Wait for RPM to stabilize between sprays. Accelerate gently if RPM drops too low.
- Use Half the Can: Continue until approximately 50% of the aerosol is used.
- Idle Time: Allow the engine to idle for 2 minutes.
- Reconnect Hose: Turn off the engine and reattach the intake hose.
- Rev or Drive: Rev the engine 5–10 times or drive 3–5 miles to clear out loosened deposits.
- Final Idle: Let the engine idle for at least 1 minute before shutting off.
Warnings
- Do not spray liquids into the turbocharger or intercooler.
- RPM fluctuations and diesel knocking may occur during application—this is normal.
- If unsure, consult a professional mechanic before proceeding.
