Why Use Diesel Intake Extreme Clean?

Engines affected by short trips or city driving often suffer from restricted airflow due to soot and deposit buildup. This treatment deeply cleans intake and exhaust paths, resolving performance loss, poor idling, and fuel inefficiency. Unlike basic fuel tank additives, this treatment cleans directly through the intake for maximum reach.

Preparation

• Ensure the engine is at operating temperature and switched off.
• Disconnect EGR valve and airflow meter if necessary.
• Install the Venturi Disc behind the air filter and turbo for optimal flow control.

Step 1 – Cleaning Fluid (350 ml | 20–25 mins)

• Fill the pressure bottle with Step 1 fluid and connect to compressed air.
• Start the engine and gradually spray the fluid through the intake using the Venturi Disc.
• Adjust flow to 12 cm per 10 seconds for safe operation; avoid engine knocking.
• Let engine idle until bottle is empty, then soak for 5–10 minutes before proceeding.

Step 2 – Flush Fluid (500 ml | 30–35 mins)

• Repeat the process using Step 2 fluid.
• After treatment, reassemble the intake, clear any fault codes, and perform a test drive.
• Change oil and oil filter following treatment for best results.

Post-Treatment Recommendations

• Use JLM Engine Oil Flush before oil change to remove remaining contaminants.
• Add JLM Diesel Injector Cleaner every 20,000 km to prevent new build-up.
