Preparation Instructions:
- Thoroughly clean the surface to be painted. Remove all dust, wax, grease, dirt, silicone, and polish using a suitable pre-paint degreaser. (We recommend E-TECH Technik Surface Deep Cleaner - Part No: ER00102).
- Ensure the surface is completely dry before painting.
- Spray only in a well-ventilated, warm (17°C to 25°C), dry, and dust-free environment.
- Compatibility Test: Always test spray on an inconspicuous area to check performance and colour before full application.
Painting Instructions:
- Apply a suitable primer first:
- Metal, alloy, fibreglass, glass: Use E-TECH Etch Primer (Part No: ER00112)
- Wood, stone, ceramics, rigid plastic: Use E-TECH Technik Primer (Part No: ER00109)
- Some rigid plastics: May require a specialist plastic primer (Part No: ER00110)
- Allow the primer to dry completely, then lightly sand with fine abrasive paper for improved adhesion.
- Shake the metallic paint can vigorously for at least 2 minutes before spraying.
- Adjust the PRO nozzle to your preferred spray pattern. Test spray before applying.
- Hold can 20–30cm (8”–12”) from the surface. Spray using smooth, side-to-side strokes.
- Apply multiple thin coats, allowing approx. 15 minutes between each coat. Do not apply heavy layers.
- Allow at least 12 hours for the final coat to dry. Drying time may vary with temperature and humidity.
- After use, invert the can and spray briefly to clear the nozzle.
Optional Final Step:
For a long-lasting high-gloss protective finish, apply E-TECH Pro Finish Clear Coat Lacquer (Part No: ER00166).
Note: Clear coat not suitable for surfaces exceeding 120°C.
